PROJECT SCOPE

This 5000,000SF $10.3 billion project is the culmination of 30 years of planning to bring the LIRR rail access into (under) Grand Central Station. The largest single project ever undertaken by the LIRR, it is scheduled for completion in 2022. DGA designed all public area lighting including the main retail concourse (over 250,000 SF), ticketing areas, connecting passageways and mezzanine, as well as four 1000' long platforms located well below Grand Central's existing tracks  We are actively engaged in construction phase services, reviewing submittals and conducting lighting mockups for complex installations.
