PROJECT SCOPE
2007 saw the completion of work on the 10-year rehabilitation of the Jamaica Station Complex as the Terminal facility of JFK’s AirTrain system. DGA’s scope of work included the design of architectural lighting solutions for the new portal bridge structure, LIRR platforms, Westerly Bridge, street level concourse, new vertical circulation building and Sutphin Boulevard underpass. At once energy efficient and robust, significant uplighting elements enhance the muscular structural elements.
